Wicked: For Good is passing a major box office milestone. The Wicked: For Good release kicked off on November 21 with the biggest domestic opening weekend for a Broadway adaptation in history. However, it swiftly began to fall behind the original 2024 Wicked with a series of week-on-week drops that were much more severe than its predecessor’s.
Per Variety, as of Sunday morning, Wicked: For Good is expected to hit a cumulative worldwide box office total of $467 million by the end of its fourth weekend in theaters. This total comprises $312 million from domestic theaters and an additional $155 million from international markets.
These results mean that 2025’s Wicked: For Good passed the $450 million milestone over the course of its third full week in theaters. However, 2024’s Wicked had already hit that milestone by the end of its third weekend, hitting $455.6 million worldwide by its third Sunday without the help of the following four weekdays.
