The Bold and the Beautiful’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who plays Steffy, has hinted at some major incoming drama. Since her on-screen mother, Taylor, started developing feelings for Deacon, Steffy fears that her mother could be in danger, and that it could put a strain on her own marriage.
Here are the details on the situation.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood says only threat to Steffy and Finn’s love in Bold and Beautiful is Sheila
A few weeks into a new year, and The Bold and the Beautiful is already hitting notes with its drama. Ever since Deacon began his therapy sessions with Taylor, the two have grown very close quickly. This has been quite a concern for the viewers since Deacon is married to Sheila, who has already tried to kill Taylor once.
This has also become a cause for worry for Taylor’s daughter, Steffy, who’s married to Finn, Sheila’s biological son. Steffy fears how her dangerous mother-in-law would react if she discovers the growing relationship between Deacon and Taylor.
Even though Sheila recently did something good by protecting Steffy, they are still far away from trusting each other completely. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who plays Steffy, believes that her character can take on her mother-in-law. “If Steffy is anything, she is resolute on her take on Sheila,” the actress told Soaps.com.
However, that could change. Wood admits that the ongoing tension could eventually affect Steffy’s marriage. She believes that the only thing capable of coming between Steffy and Finn “would ultimately be Sheila.” According to Wood, Finn could start feeling sorry and may even side with his troubled mother.
While she said that her character may sympathize with Sheila, she said, “Finn would be tempted before Steffy,” adding, “But I could be wrong.”
Nonetheless, the actress acknowledged, “One thing I’d love about Steffy is how she is able to see the truth about someone. Even though that someone is her mother-in-law, she stays true to herself.”
Keep tuning into The Bold and the Beautiful to find out how it all pans out.
