The studio behind Coraline has officially confirmed when its hiatus will end with the announcement of the release date for its upcoming fantasy feature Wildwood.

Based on Colin Meloy’s novels, Laika’s Wildwood will hit theaters in the U.S. on October 23, in collaboration with Fathom Entertainment. The stop-motion adaptation is directed by Travis Knight from a script by Chris Butler.
