October marks the start of Fall, a season for pulling your favorite sweater out of the closet, sipping on pumpkin spice lattes, and maybe even brainstorming that perfect Halloween costume. But for anime fans, the changing season also brings something even more exciting: a new wave of series to dive into. This month, we’re saying goodbye to the young heroes we’ve watched grow in My Hero Academia, welcoming a fresh chapter in the Ranma ½ remake, and discovering brand-new stories ready to capture our hearts. To help you plan your watchlist, we’ve rounded up the biggest and most anticipated titles arriving on the two biggest anime streaming platforms this October. Without further ado, here are the seven best anime series coming to Crunchyroll and Netflix.

The story follows Ranma Saotome, a teenager trained in martial arts from a young age. During a training trip with his father, he falls into a cursed Chinese spring and gains the strange ability to change sexes —transforming into a girl with cold water and reverting to a boy with hot water. As if that weren’t complicated enough, Ranma also discovers he’s been betrothed to Akane, the youngest daughter of his father’s closest friend. Though both protest the arrangement at first, Season 1 showed the two slowly growing closer. Now, Season 2 is set to deliver even more action-packed fights, heartfelt drama, and laugh-out-loud comedy as Ranma’s adventures continue.
