Star Trek will also be featured in the upcoming Rose Parade on New Year’s Day in Pasadena, giving fans across the globe a look at a 60th anniversary float and helping promote the new live-action series Starfleet Academy.

That show is still aiming for an “early 2026” premiere, while Strange New Worlds wraps its third season on September 11. Seasons four and five are already in the pipeline.

Today also marks the launch of Star Trek: Khan, a scripted podcast that dives into the backstory leading up to Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Naveen Andrews voices Khan, joined by Star Trek: Voyager’s Tim Russ as Ensign Tuvok and the legendary George Takei as Captain Sulu.

New episodes drop every Monday through November 3 across podcast platforms and the Star Trek YouTube channel.

Fans can also look forward to Trek’s new partnership with Webtoon, which will introduce digital comics featuring original stories. Paramount says this initiative is designed to connect “with new audiences by launching original stories that touch on universal genres and themes based in the world of Star Trek.”

To make sure no one misses out on the 60th anniversary fun, Paramount has launched a special online hub to track all these announcements. With this being only the first wave of reveals, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for some movie news soon.
