Days after reports surfaced that Scarlett Johansson was in talks to join the cast of the live-action Tangled remake, the movie star finally broke her silence on the speculation.
During an interview with ET, Johansson was asked if there was a strong chance that she would play Mother Gothel in a live-action Tangled movie. She acknowledged that “anything is possible” before adding that the opportunity to work with director Michael Gracie is what would excite her the most.
Is there a real possibility? I think anything is possible.
What would excite me about it would be the opportunity to work with Michael Gracey, who is attached to direct the film because he is an absolute extraordinary visionary and any actor would love to have a collaboration.
