It’s that time of the month when PlayStation Plus adds to its Extra and Premium games catalogs. This time around, there are eight games being added to both tiers, with a ninth one coming exclusively to PS Plus Premium. Luckily, the games that are arguably the biggest of the bunch will be arriving on both tiers.
As confirmed over on the official PlayStation Blog, PlayStation Plus subscribers on the Extra and Premium tiers are in for a nice haul of new games. All of these are available today, January 20, 2026, so you can dive into playing them right now if you want. And if you have a membership, the games are, of course, free to download and play at no additional cost.
PSA: PlayStation Plus’ Latest Free Drop Is Here
The games being added to PlayStation today are:
- A Little To The Left
- A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead
- Art of Rally
- Darkest Dungeon 2
- Expeditions: A MudRunner Game
- Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
- Resident Evil Village
- Ridge Racer (PS Plus Premium only)
- The Exit 8
Of these, only Ridge Racer is exclusively for Premium members. Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth on PS Plus is a pretty nice one. Not only is it a fantastic game, but it’s an RPG you’ll easily spend 50+ hours with, and if you want to do side content or get all trophies, you’re looking at 100 hours or more.
If you’re looking for something far shorter, then The Exit 8 is for you. You can beat the entire thing in less than an hour, and if you really wanted to, you could probably get that down to 45 minutes. So whether you’re looking to get immersed in a lengthy RPG or just want to break your boredom with a quick game, there’s something here for you.
Don’t Sleep On Resident Evil Village
Of course, Resident Evil Village is a no-brainer to play. With Resident Evil Requiem arriving in February, it’s the perfect time to play Village if you haven’t already. Or, play it again as a refresher. It’s a great game, but if horror isn’t your thing, you may want to approach it with caution. There are definitely some jump scares along the way.
Of the games listed here, I’d most recommend Resident Evil Village and Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. They’re very different games, but both are equally great. Honestly, it’s been a while since I played RE Village, so I think I may give it a shot again before Requiem drops. If you don’t own it already, then be sure to snag it on PlayStation Plus right now.
