Peacemaker Fans Are Sure a Nazi Superman Is Coming After Huge Twist

Peacemaker fans think that Overman, an evil version of Superman from DC Comics, will debut in one of the remaining two episodes of Season 2 of the hit HBO Max superhero series. Overman is a resident of Earth-10, an alternate reality where Nazis won World War II.

Peacemaker fans believe Overman will cameo after Earth X twist

Many fans of Peacemaker are under the impression that Overman will appear in Episodes 7 or 8 of Peacemaker Season 2 after the events of the sixth episode. If this turns out to be true, David Corenswet can potentially portray the character after playing the eponymous hero in 2025’s Superman.

One fan, @Shamgod__, took to X (formerly Twitter) to speculate, “Yeah I’m pretty sure we’re getting Overman from Earth 10 soon #Peacemaker.”

Meanwhile, @BigBro06696271 shared that it would be “peak” if Corenswet does appear as Overman in the season finale.

In Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 6, John Cena’s Chris Smith / Peacemaker and friends and allies learn that something has gone horribly wrong in the alternate Earth that Peacemaker has come to love. Jennifer Holland’s Emilia Harcourt notes that there are no people of color in this world. Danielle Brooks’ Leota Adebayo gets chased by a White supremacist mob. Further, Peacemaker and Harcourt spot the Nazi symbol on the American flag.

Series creator James Gunn refers to this world as Earth X. In the comics, as mentioned above, Overman lives on Earth-10, a reality created after the events of Infinite Crisis and based on Earth-X from the Pre-Crisis Multiverse. Alternatively known as Ubermensch, Overman was born as Kal-L on Krypton and grew up as Karl Kant. He joined the Fourth Reich, helping the Nazis win World War II and establish control over the world. After making an initial cameo appearance in the 52nd issue of the first volume of the comic book series 52 in 2007, he later appeared as a major character in Final Crisis: Superman Beyond.

These speculations began circulating after Gunn teased in an interview with Collider that there would be a “big appearance by somebody in the end of the season that I don’t think people will see coming.” Fans have wondered who it can be since then.
