New Marvel Disney+ Show Announced Alongside 2 Specials

Marvelhas announced a slew of new animated projects, including a new Avengers animated show and two new Disney+ specials.

What are the new Marvel Disney+ programs?

Up first, Marvel announced that Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends, a new series, will premiere in 2027 on Disney Jr. and Disney+. The series will introduce kid versions of some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Panther, Black Widow, and Thor. Much like their grown-up counterparts, the show will focus on the Avengers being their best and facing off against villains.

Alongside the Avengers show, Marvel also announced two new 22-minute specials that will debut on Disney Jr., followed by Disney+. The first, titled Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team Up! will premiere on October 16, 2025, and see Iron Man and the Avengers joining Spider-Man to stop Ultron and Green Goblin from taking control of the city.

The second special, a Halloween-themed special, will premiere sometime in the fall of 2026. No information is available about that show as of yet, but much like the Spidey and Iron Man series, it will premiere on Disney Jr. before appearing on Disney+.
