This week marks the premiere of the hotly anticipated romantic period drama prequel, Outlander: Blood of My Blood on Starz. For viewers looking for more adventurous tales of love across time, like the Sam Heugan and Caitríona Balfe-led original series, however, Hallmark‘s latest miniseries may also be worth a look. Earlier this week, a new trailer was released for Providence Falls, a three-episode event following a rookie police detective pairing up with a visiting investigator, who’s actually her reincarnated love sent to change her fate forever. The first episode, subtitled “Chance of a Lifetime,” has already premiered on the Hallmark Channel, but it’s now available through Hallmark+, with the other two installments dropping in the coming weeks.
