My Hero Academia Vigilantes: Season 2 gets same day English dub release date

Crunchyroll has officially confirmed that My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 will launch with a same-day English dub, allowing viewers to watch the new episodes in both Japanese and English upon release. The second season is scheduled to premiere worldwide on January 5, 2026.

The anime is adapted from the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes manga, written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court. First launched in 2016, the series ran for nearly six years before concluding in 2022 with 15 collected volumes. Serving as a spin-off to My Hero Academia, Vigilantes focuses on unlicensed heroes who operate outside official systems.

Season 2 continues production at BONES FILM, with Kenichi Suzuki returning as director. Yōsuke Kuroda once again oversees series composition, while Takahiko Yoshida handles character designs. Music for the season is composed by Yuki Hayashi, alongside Shōgo Yamashiro and Yūki Furuhashi. The upcoming season is expected to run for 13 episodes.

Alongside the premiere announcement, Crunchyroll also revealed details of the English dub cast and production team. Jack Broadbent voices Koichi, with Macy Anne Johnson as Pop. Supporting roles include Christopher Wehkamp as Aizawa and Kyle Hebert as Fat Gum. The English dub is directed by Manuel Aragon, produced by Zach Bolton, and adapted by Matthew Greenbaum, with audio mixing by Rickey Watkins.

Crunchyroll currently streams the first season. It follows the story of Koichi Haimawari, a college student who abandoned his dream of becoming a hero. His outlook shifts dramatically after he and Pop☆Step are rescued by the underground vigilante Knuckleduster. This encounter pulls them into a dangerous, unofficial fight for justice.
