Matt Damon’s Forgotten Buddy Comedy Without Ben Affleck Is Finally Returning to Streaming

Matt Damon is among the Hollywood stars who have given us blockbusters and a variety of stories across genres. From The Martian to Ford vs Ferrari, the Bourne Identity franchise to Good Will Hunting and many more, the actor has shown a range that few can. Damon’s long-standing friendship with Ben Affleck has also given us some good movies with them either writing/acting together or now producing various features under their banner. Now, there’s one kickass buddy comedy movie featuring Damon that’s making a return to streaming sans Affleck.

The Farrelly Brothers‘ 2003 flick, Stuck on You will return to Hulu this month. The movie follows conjoined twins Walt (Greg Kinnear) and Bob Tenor (Damon), who make the best of their handicap by being the fastest grill cooks in town. However, their aspirations separate them as Walt hopes to one day become a famous actor, while Bob prefers to stay out of the spotlight. Things take a turn when a fading Hollywood actress, Cher (Cher), decides to get her show cancelled, and she hires Walt and his brother as her costars. But their addition surprisingly achieves the opposite.

The 62% Rotten Tomatoes score movie is full of emotional moments with ample comedic jiffies to balance the narrative, along with a host of cameos. The movie also cast Eva Mendes as April, Seymour Cassel as Morty, Wen Yann Shih as May, Cher as herself, Jackie Flynn as Howard, Michael Callan as Fox, and Ray “Rocket” Valliere as Rocket, and Malcolm G. Chace Jr. as Vineyard Buddie. Also rounding off the cast are Pat Crawford Brown, Tommy Songin, and Terence Bernie Hines. The movie also had some great cameos from Griffin Dunne, Jay Leno, Cam Neely, Ricky Williams, Ben Carson, Meryl Streep, Luke Wilson, and many more.

Where Will We See Matt Damon Next?

In Christopher Nolan’s historical epic, The Odyssey as Odysseus himself. While Damon and Nolan have collaborated on several projects in the past, this is the first time he’s leading a Nolan movie. While not much is known about the film, it is expected to chart Odysseus’ decade-long journey back home. A trailer for the film was revealed in U.S. theaters featuring Tom Holland and Jon Bernthal which gave fans a peak into what’s coming. The movie also stars Zendaya, Mia Goth, Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong’o, and many more.
