There’s a part of Eliot’s (Christian Kane) past that the crew of Leverage: Redemption has no idea about, and it has to do with one of the villains from the original TNT series Leverage. In Season 3 of the prequel, unbeknownst to the others, Eliot worked for Damien Moreau (Goran Visnjic), and he once hinted as much, explaining at the time to his teammates that he’d been trying to protect them, which he saw as his job. Still, we never found out what exactly he did for Damien, and it seems like that question will never be answered, according to the reboot’s showrunner.
