Leaving fans hanging yet again, the lead actors and the showrunner of NCIS: Tony and Ziva, have not given a certain answer about a possible Season 2. So fans need to wait for an official statement regrading the renewal or cancellation of NCIS: Tony & Ziva.
Upon being asked about a prospective renewal in an interview with TV Insider, actor Cote de Pablo said, “I think we’d be lucky to play these characters for — look, I’ll say this: Season 1 was like a dream. It was so much fun to go back and revisit these characters. Where this goes, we know not.”
Meanwhile, showrunner John McNamara refrained from giving any answer to the burning question. McNamara said that he’s currently focusing solely on finishing Season 1 and making it as impactful as possible. He further added that it is ultimately the fans and the decision-makers at Paramount and CBs who make the final call.
