Every Thriller Fan Must Binge This Prime Video Series A Former Navy SEAL Called “Realistic”

A former Navy SEAL praised one of Prime Video‘s most popular thriller shows, highlighting the real reason why fans of the genre must check it out.

Prime Video has gradually grown its dad show library to become the primary hub of some of the best thriller TV series. It is not only the home of some of the best book adaptations, like Bosch and Jack Ryan, but also has some of the viral thriller TV shows, like Reacher.

In its growing thriller catalog, Prime Video also accommodates another compelling TV series that may not have universally impressed critics, but it has won the hearts of many viewers. A former Navy SEAL also opened up about his insights on the show, revealing what exactly makes it appealing to many.

Former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink, who is best known for his leadership podcast and non-fiction books, sat down with Chris Pratt to review The Terminal List. After closely looking at the show’s action scenes, he praised its production for ensuring that it looked realistic.

He took notice of specific things like tactical reloads and slug switches during battle scenes, highlighting how movies featuring the military often miss these details. Willink eventually concluded that The Terminal List gives a good representation of what an actual gunfight looks like, which means a lot for the series since Willink is a former member of SEAL Team 3.

When The Terminal List first landed on Prime Video, it left viewers and critics divided. While its critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes is still 41%, it boasts an impressive audience score of 94%. After Willink’s review of the series, it is hard not to see audiences likely enjoyed the series and rated it so high because of its ability to capture the raw authenticity of the military.

The Terminal List‘s spin-off show, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, recently landed on Prime Video. The show primarily focuses on Taylor Kitsch’s character Ben Edwards and walks through the events that shaped him before his tragic Terminal List story. Dark Wolf not only redeemed the show’s Rotten Tomatoes score but also managed to recapture its authenticity.

The spin-off series has a Rotten Tomatoes critics’ score of 75% and also features an immersive narrative that delves deep into the morally grey zones of loyalty and brotherhood in the military. Like its parent series, the Prime Video spin-off also pays immense attention to detail during its action scenes to ensure they look as realistic as possible. With so much going in its favor, it deserves every thriller fan’s attention.
