Demon Slayer Anime Hints at Delayed Streaming Release for Infinity Castle Movie

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, the official English X (formerly Twitter) account of Demon Slayer anime posted a new 30-second promotional video for the Infinity Castle movie, focusing on Kamado Tanjiro. The tweet stated that the film will be available to watch exclusively in movie theaters in 2026.

“Watch Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle exclusively in movie theatres in 2026.”

As fans must recall, only a week after the English release of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie, Crunchyroll’s Executive Vice President of Global Commerce, Mitchel Berger, stated that the movie will remain a theater exclusive through 2025. As such, fans believed that the movie would become available for streaming in 2026.

Unfortunately, the latest update from the Demon Slayer anime suggests otherwise. While the tweet from the anime’s X account doesn’t outright state anything about the film’s streaming release, the movie’s exclusivity to theaters in 2026 implies that it might be added to Crunchyroll for streaming much later.

When Can Fans Expect Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Movie to Stream on Crunchyroll?
