It’s Christmas in July, and two of anime’s biggest protagonists are spreading the festive spirit. Funko has released two holiday-themed figures based on Tanjiro and Nezuko fromDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, as well as Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto. Both are scheduled to arrive before the end of December. These figurines would make great centerpieces for your Christmas decorations and will arrive before the festive season starts.
For a listed price of $14.99 each, Funko’s latest Pop! Plus figures have the Kamado siblings and the soon-to-be Hokage wearing holiday outfits, from elves to Santa Claus. These figures are available for pre-order on third-party sites, such as Entertainment Earth. Although it’s too early for Christmas, they are scheduled to arrive in August 2025. Naruto and Demon Slayer never had a crossover in an official capacity, but this is enough to excite any anime fan.
Funko has been releasing a handful of festive-themed figures lately, as there are only six months left before December. Its most recent drop was based on the Disney Princesses, where Rapunzel, Jasmine, Ariel, Belle, Elsa, Anna, and Tiana wore holiday-themed dresses in their latest Funko Pop figure appearance. The same can be said for the X-Men, as some of Marvel’s iconic mutants have dressed up to share joy and cheer.
‘Demon Slayer’s Latest Film Has Become A Box Office Hit
Demon Slayer has released its latest feature film called Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle, and it wasn’t long before it broke the franchise’s previous box office record. Infinity Castle has currently generated over $37 million in Japan and has a MyAnimeList score of 8.73. It won’t be long until that box office number soars as the film enters U.S. theaters this September.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle is a film based on the Infinity Castle subarc, which is the first half of the manga’s 11th and final story arc called “The Final Battle Arc.” According to the film’s premise, Tanjiro Kamado (Natsuki Hanae/Zach Aguilar) and the Demon Slayer Corps plunge into the Infinity Castle to face the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji (Toshihiko Seki/Greg Chun), as the final battle between humans and demons begins. Directing the feature is Haruo Sotozaki, and animating it is Ufotable, both of whom were involved in the Demon Slayer anime adaptation.
Demon Slayer and Natruo are available to stream on Crunchyroll.
