This week, Bachelor in Paradise is packed with power couples who seem locked in and ready to ride it out to the finish line. But Paradise never stays peaceful for long. The Goldens are still getting their feet wet when it comes to coupling up, but they’re making waves, and even taking a body shot here and there. A beloved new arrival dances his way onto the beach and sweeps a hot date off her feet. Jonathon Johnson is single and searching for a rose, and Golden April Kirkwood continues to put the moves on him. And of course, Paradise delivers another wild rose ceremony.
On day eight of Bachelor in Paradise, we welcomed fan favorite Gary Levingston into the fold. He arrives to full-on fanfare, complete with a fleet of dancers and musicians. Gary lives up to the hype—every Golden girl in Paradise has her eyes on him. Some of the other guys are green with envy; “Gary is very good with the ladies. Evidently, I’m not. Gary’s over the top. It’s just big—everybody wants to join in when they see Gary, and I’m jealous of that.”
Dale Moss Admits to a Secret Kiss As ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Love Triangles Spiral out of Control
Dale Moss and Kat Izzo cozy up to talk by the water, and Dale hushes a pair of chirping birds nearby, “We’re trying to have a conversation! They’re fighting. They’re in a toxic relationship, we’re not.” (Hold that thought, Dale). Kat wants answers about where they are as a couple. Dale fidgets with a frosty glass of rosé and, after some prodding, admits that he and Allie Jo Hinkes shared a quick kiss last week. Kat is blown away by this admission; she thought the plan was to be transparent with one another, and is upset she had to ask Dale to find out about this kiss. After a bit of back and forth, Dale tells Kat those three little words every woman wants to hear—“move past it.”
Kat seeks comfort from Jonathon, noting that con artists are real and maybe Dale is one of them. If his dishonesty continues, she can’t remain in a couple with him. Jonathon sees an opening here; in venting about her current connection, Kat is essentially writing him a step-by-step guide on what she needs from a partner. Jonathon asks Kat pretty directly for some attention, and it looks like he just might get it. Kat giggles, “You never know, maybe I’m the con artist!”
Gary has been given a date card, and while he’s been connecting with Natascha Hardee and Leslie Fhima, it’s Leslie he decides to ask out. They head to a club and hit the dance floor (a natural habitat for both of them), and the chemistry between them can be felt through the screen.
’Bachelor in Paradise’s Rose Ceremony Sparks Shocking Exits, Brutal Friendzones, and More Dale Drama
With just two hours left before the women hand out roses, contestants gather for a cocktail party. April talks with the men who remain on the market, still searching for her rose recipient. Kim Buike brutally friendzones her, confident he’ll get Leslie’s rose (though we all know that belongs to Gary). Dale and Kat have another chat, and things go downhill quickly. Kat attempts to express and work through her feelings about Dale’s undisclosed kiss, but he feels like they should already have moved on, despite Kat being made aware of this issue just hours ago. Dale throws out gems including “this sounds a lot like my ex,” and “just move on, give me a rose.” Ultimately, he coldly tells Kat it seems they were just raised differently. As the ceremony begins, they’re are still exchanging barbs, with Dale delivering the last word: “You started it.” He’s 36, by the way.
Now, it’s time for the rose ceremony. Parisa and Bryan, Bailey and Jeremy, and Jess and Spencer stick together. Alexe’s rose goes to Andrew, Jill’s to Sean, and Kathy gives a rose to Keith. Natascha gives Gary her rose, which leaves Leslie to half-heartedly offer hers to Kim. After all that arguing, Kat still calls Dale’s name. And finally, shockingly, April gives her rose to Jonathon; “I want you to have another opportunity to be valued for what other people may not see but I do.” Goldens RJ, Jack, and CK are headed home. And now that that’s over, Dale and Kat can get back to bickering.
