‘Good Omens’ (2019–Present)

Real-life best friends Michael Sheen and David Tennant have been part of many exciting projects together. However, none has showcased the pair’s chemistry better than Good Omens, the hit Prime Video fantasy series you should add to your watchlist this weekend. The series follows Sheen’s by-the-book angel, Aziraphale, and Tennant’s enigmatic demon, Crowley, as they head to Earth in an attempt to halt the impending Armageddon.
A vibrant, immersive series starring two of Britain’s best performers, Good Omens might’ve faced subsequent controversy since its most recent outing, but that doesn’t change just how entertaining the quality on screen is. With it looking as if the suggested feature-length finale is less likely than ever, there is the potential to find frustration with the unintentional ‘ending’ to the series. But fear not, as this fantasy ride is more than worth it.

A series unlike anything else you could watch this weekend, the lesser-discussed The Sticky is the very definition of an underrated gem. Inspired by the likes of Fargo and Breaking Bad, Donovan and Herro craft a gripping series packed with clever comedy and dramatic action, fronted by a terrific Martindale performance that shockingly marks her first-ever leading role.
