The expectation heading into this week was that the fight for Prime Video supremacy would be between two shows: the ever-popular The Summer I Turned Pretty and the hotly anticipated return of The Boys spin-off, Gen V. However, at the time of writing, as we head into another weekend on the streamer, there’s a different show topping the charts. Following a brutal finale that earned plenty of praise, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is currently the most-watched show on Prime. With that series coming to an explosive climax, what should be next on your watchlist? Here’s a look at the three Prime Video shows you need to binge this weekend.

‘Carnival Row’ (2019 — 2023)
Rotten Tomatoes: 48% | IMDb: 7.7/10
This weekend, it’s time to find an underrated gem to keep you entertained. Starring the ever-watchable pairing of Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, the fantasy series Carnival Row follows human detective Rycroft “Philo” Philostrate as he and a refugee fairy (Delevingne) reignite an old flame, all whilst a streak of terrifying murders hits their Victorian fantasy world.
As any good fantasy show does, Carnival Row thrives thanks to its world-building, with this blend of mythological society and Victorian setting creating an unforgettable viewing experience from start to finish. Both Delevingne and Bloom are brilliant throughout, with the depth within their relationship worthy of a watch alone. Nominated for three Primetime Emmys across two seasons, this is a wholly underrated fantasy series.
2
‘Swarm’ (2023)
Rotten Tomatoes: 87% | IMDb: 7.1/10
This critically acclaimed miniseries, created by Janine Nabers and Donald Glover, follows Dominique Fishback‘s Dre, an obsessive fan of a Beyoncé-esque pop star who, following a particularly traumatic incident, begins to spiral alongside her obsession. As her thoughts turn negative and her actions turn brutal, Dre’s life is pushed to the extreme in this brilliant dark comedy.
Fancy an indulgent, twisting story with plenty of memorable guest stars to keep you entertained this weekend? Swarm is the series for you, with Fishback joined in the cast by the likes of Chloe Bailey, Rory Culkin, Paris Jackson, X Mayo, Billie Eilish, and more. An award-winning tale that is just as unapologetically funny as it is psychologically horrific, this will be unlike anything else you could watch this weekend.
1
‘Jury Duty’ (2023)
Rotten Tomatoes: 84% | IMDb: 8.2/10
One of the most fascinating shows of the decade so far, the hugely popular hidden camera series Jury Duty should be right at the top of your watchlist this weekend, not least because of the news earlier this year that it would be returning for a second season. The series follows Ronald Gladden, a regular man who truly believes he has been summoned for jury duty. However, the group around him is, in fact, full of paid actors, and the boundaries are pushed in increasingly eye-opening fashion.
Featuring a selection of genuinely brilliant acting performances, including James Marsden, who parodies himself in the first few episodes, this genius series is perhaps the greatest prank show of all time. Earning four Primetime Emmy nominations and a near-perfect 96% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes for its trouble, Jury Duty is a must-watch. For those who haven’t yet seen it, consider this your summons.
