Another month is over, and November begins with a hugely exciting Netflix catalog. Currently topping the streaming charts, keeping continuity between the months, is the Erin Foster-created series Nobody Wants This, with the unlikely romance between Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody) managing to outperform the hotly-awaited arrival of Liam Hemsworth, as he replaces Henry Cavill as the new Geralt of Rivia in The WitcherSeason 4. ‘Supacell’ (2024–Present)

If you want a taste of superhero action but fancy something different from the Marvel and DC norm, look no further than British superhero series Supacell. Created and written by rapper, record producer, and filmmaker Andrew Onwubolu,aka Rapman, the series stars Doctor Who alum Tosin Cole as he and a group of other Black South Londoners discover they have a strange collection of superpowers.

One of the few series on Netflix to boast a perfect 100% rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, Supacell is a breath of fresh air in a stuffed superhero genre. With just six episodes available right now, with more to come in the confirmed Season 2, the BAFTA-winning Supacell marks an easy and more-than-worthwhile binge-watch this week, guaranteed to keep you hooked from the very first moment to the last.

‘Evil’ (2019–2024)

October might be over, but that doesn’t mean horror fans should park their favorite genre just yet. The underrated psychological horror series Evil follows forensic psychologist Dr. Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), a non-believer who becomes the unlikely recipient of an invitation to work at the Catholic Church from priest David (Mike Colter). Together with tech expert Ben (Aasif Mandvi), the pair must investigate the supernatural.

Packed with plenty of thrills, spills, and scares, Evil will keep the Halloween spirit burning as November begins. Often likened to The X-Files, this gripping series somehow avoided the eye of awards ceremonies across its five-year run, despite earning an impressive, near-perfect 96% score on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

‘Sex Education’ (2019–2023)

If you’re looking for what to watch this week, leave complications behind and check out one of Netflix’s flagship shows.
