King & Conqueror

The 8-part BBC original series King & Conquerer is one of the most-watched shows on Prime Video right now. The historical drama depicts the lives of William of Normandy and Harold of Wessex, who met at the Battle of Hastings in the year 1066 and came into conflict over the crown of England.

Game of Thrones fans will surely recognize 2-time Emmy nominee Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who played Jamie Lannister, in the role of William the Conqueror. Co-star James Norton, known for House of Guinness and Little Women, portrays Harold Godwinson. The series received mixed reviews from critics but is currently 4th on Prime Video’s U.S. viewership chart.

Tremembé

Tremembé Prime Video

Tremembé is a new 5-part true crime prison drama series that just dropped on Prime Video on October 31. A Brazilian series with English dubbed audio and subtitles available, this is one of Prime Video’s best new crime thrillers of Fall 2025 that nobody seems to be talking about, making it a true hidden gem binge.

Inspired by real events, Tremembé takes an inside look at the titular Brazilian prison that holds the nation’s most infamous criminals. If you love prison drama series like Orange is the New Black and crime thrillers like Mayor of Kingstown, give Tremembé a shot on Prime Video this weekend.

Nice To Not Meet You

Squid Game fans will instantly recognize Lee Jung-jae in the brand new Prime Video miniseries Nice to Not Meet You. The K-drama comedy series follows Lim Hyeon-jun, a fading movie star, who forms an unlikely dynamic with a prominent political journalist named Wi Jeong-sin after her reporting uncovered a massive corruption scandal.

The first two episodes of Nice to Not Meet You are available to stream right now, with new episodes releasing weekly on Prime Video up to the end of December. The series is already cracking the Top 10 on global viewership charts (via FlixPatrol) and earned an 8.2 rating on IMDb, making it Screen Rant’s top pick to binge this weekend on Prime Video.
