The third season of Ginny & Georgia has been streaming on Netflix for less than a week, but newly announced viewership information proves the show has been a major hit. Ginny & Georgia Season 3 earned 17.6 million viewers during its first four days on the streamer, making it the most-watched TV show of last week. This latest season’s release also encouraged fans to check out Seasons 1 and 2, which finished the week as the sixth and ninth-most-watched shows with 3 million and 2.5 million viewers, respectively. This smashing viewership from Ginny & Georgia comes not long after the show earned a 70% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and an 82% on the audience-driven Popcornmeter, both series-high scores for the hit Netflix series.
There have been 30 episodes of Ginny & Georgia through three seasons, and due to the show having such a well-rounded cast, nine members of the ensemble have featured in every installment thus far. Leading the charge are Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry, who fill in the lead roles of Georgia and Ginny Miller. Starring beside them as the other member of the Miller family is Diesel La Torraca as Austin, with Felix Mallard and Sara Waisglass playing the Bakers, Marcus and Maxine. Scott Porter (Mayor Paul Randolph), Raymond Ablack (Joe), Kate Douglas (Abby Littman), and Chelsea Clarke (Norah) have also starred in every episode of Ginny & Georgia, and all aforementioned cast members are expected back in Season 4. The show was written and created for television by Sarah Lampert, with Mike Gauyo, Briane Belser, Enil K. Foreman, and more filling out the writer’s room.
What Do We Know About ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 4?
Ginny & Georgia has already been renewed for a fourth season, and during a recent interview with Collider, star Brianne Howey confirmed Season 4 will begin filming later this year. Netflix has yet to assign the series an official release date, but considering the show has released three new seasons in four years, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the fourth season debut on Netflix next year. Ginny & Georgia is currently topping Netflix charts, competing with the latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, which took place one night after Money in the Bank. The show is also beating Tires, Sirens, Dept Q., and more on streaming charts.
All episodes of Ginny & Georgia Season 3 are now streaming on Netflix. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the series.
