Netflix made a bold call by releasing the Stranger Things finale in theaters, and it’s paid off. Numbers finally came in this morning, and Netflix is reporting that the Stranger Things finale earned between $25 million and $28 million during its two days at the box office. This is a massive haul for only two days, but things were always heading in this direction — Netflix had to add more showings for the Stranger Things finale across the country after theaters sold out within days of tickets going on sale. It’s hard to predict an exact number as different theaters charged different prices for tickets.
