3 Prime Video Shows You Need to Binge This Week

After so many months of waiting, Fallout Season 2 is about to premiere on December 16th. Perhaps the biggest Prime Video arrival of 2025, the Ghoul (Walton Goggins) and Lucy’s (Ella Purnell) return is sure to climb straight to the top of the streaming charts, with the likes of House of David, The Mighty Nein, and Beast Games destined to be overtaken. But in the meantime, there are still the final couple of days before Fallout dominates everyone’s watchlist. To fill that time, here’s a look at three Prime Video shows you need to binge this week.

‘Surely Tomorrow’ (2025)

For fans of K-dramas, do not let Surely Tomorrow, also known as Waiting for Gyeong-do, pass you by on Prime Video. Once lovers, Lee Gyeong-do (Park Seo-joon) and Seo Ji-woo’s (Won Ji-an) lives come back together in the most unlikely of circumstances, as the former reports on a major extramarital affair scandal involving the latter.

Directed by Lim Hyun-wook and written by Yoo Young-ah, Surely Tomorrow might be somewhat generic in its portrayal of this unlikely romance between two people who seemingly annoy each other, but the series certainly ticks all the right boxes for fans of K-drama and romance. Featuring memorable lead performances and some truly stunning cinematography, let Surely Tomorrow bring light to your dark December nights.

‘Spooks’ (2002–2011)

U.K. crime series are a beloved part of our everyday viewing habits, and Prime Video is currently hosting one of the very best ever. Known as MI-5 to some, David Wolstencroft‘s Spooks follows the aforementioned domestic intelligence organization, as a select group of highly-trained individuals work day and night to keep their country safe from terrorist threats and other dangerous evils.

From Peter Firth and Nicola Walker toRichard Armitage, Matthew Macfayden, and Keeley Hawes, Spooks boasts some of the very best British actors of the 21st century. Each supported by superb direction and a gripping set of scripts, they thrive in one of the best spy dramas ever to grace British screens. The winner of one BAFTA award among 17 other nominations, Spooks is a true gem.

‘Sanctuary’ (2008–2011)

It might only be 10 days until Christmas, but that needn’t force you into watching festive series or specials. If you aren’t a fan of yuletide-themed shows, why not try this underrated sci-fi gem from 2008? The series takes place in a modern world boasting rapidly advancing science, only for a darker side to mankind’s evolution to emerge, as battling monsters is required to secure the future of the human race.

Created by Damian Kindler, Sanctuary is a series everyone should try. A slick, stylish story with clever sci-fi elements and an ensemble packed with electric performances, the series boasts 59 episodes in total across four seasons, with enough content to keep you going right through into the new year. Not just an immersive narrative, Sanctuary also benefits from stunning visuals and even earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Visual Effects back in 2009.
