Paramount Plus’s new TV and movie releases for December 15-21, 2025, includes just one television release, DORA Season 4.
DORA Season 4 will premiere on Paramount Plus on Friday, December 19, 2025. This children’s animated series was co-created by Chris Gifford and Valerie Walsh. It is a reboot of the Dora the Explorer animated series that aired on Nickelodeon between 2000 and 2019. The series is also the fourth installment of the Dora the Explorer franchise, which also includes the shows, Go, Diego, Go! and Dora and Friends: Into the City!, and the films, Dora and the Lost City of Gold and Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado.
Season 1 premiered on Paramount+ on April 12, 2024, followed by Season 2 on September 13, 2024, and Season 3 on July 2, 2025. Notably, the series began airing on Nickelodeon on August 5, 2024, a few months after its Paramount+ premiere.
The story follows Dora, a young girl full of creativity and imagination. Accompanied by her monkey friend Boots, she goes on various adventures across the rainforest. During her adventures, she meets all sorts of interesting people and teaches them values like kindness, friendship, and community. Moreover, while adventuring, Dora and her friends cross paths with Swiper, an incredibly sneaky fox.
DORA stars Diana Zermeño and Asher Colton Spence as the voices of Dora and Boots, respectively. Supporting cast members include Quintún Muñoz, Anairis Quinones, Danny Burstein, Katarina Sky, Marc Weiner, Donovan Monzon, and Tandi Fomukong, all of whom voice multiple characters in the series.
