Taylor Swift has now revealed the episode release date of her Eras tour docuseries on Disney+. The platform will release a six-episode season that follows the run of her shows and the team behind it all. At the same time, a full concert film that was captured in Vancouver will arrive on the same day.
Here’s when new episodes of the Eras Tour docuseries release
The docuseries and concert film follow a clear release plan:
- December 12, 2025: Episodes 1 and 2 arrive on Disney+ at 12:00 a.m. ET. ABC will air a preview of the first episode the same night at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT.
- December 19, 2025: Episodes 3 and 4 stream on Disney+.
- December 26, 2025: Episodes 5 and 6 stream on Disney+, completing the six-episode series.
The Taylor Swift docuseries will explore the record-breaking Eras Tour. It will also include behind-the-scenes, such as rehearsals, staging, and the people who helped put the show together. The concert film, titled Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, was filmed in Vancouver. It includes extra acoustic songs and moments not in the earlier theatrical release.
Swift and her team have described the project as a big, personal undertaking. As Swift told Good Morning America, “We have done something that no one has ever done.” Her mother, Andrea Swift, added in the same preview that “Executing a tour of this size is mind-boggling. How do we do this?”
On Instagram, she said the series was meant to capture “every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives.”
The series will also feature many of the tour’s surprise guests and collaborators, including Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, along with Swift’s band, dancers, crew, and family.
What fans are most excited about is seeing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship. It has been more than two years since the two got together. They recently announced their engagement in August 2025.
