Peacock’s new mystery thriller series, All Her Fault, had the best debut viewership in the streaming platform’s history. Succession star Sarah Snook leads the show as Marissa Irvine, whose life is forever changed after the sudden disappearance of her son.
Marissa’s son, Milo (Duke McCloud), was supposedly on a playdate with the son of Dakota Fanning’s character, Jenny Kaminski. However, when Marissa goes to pick up Milo, Jenny has never seen or heard of Marissa or her son.
Per Variety, All Her Fault was watched for 46 million hours during its first three weeks on Peacock, with this viewership being counted across all eight episodes. Nielsen’s data also reveals that the series stayed among the top five most-watched streaming originals in the U.S. during this three-week period.
In addition to the show’s record-breaking viewership, it had a generally positive critical reception as well. ScreenRant‘s review of All Her Fault by Mae Abdulbaki praised the series for being “magnificent at weaving a layered story with equally intriguing characters.” The series holds an overall critical score of 77% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Despite the impressive viewership and solid reviews, chances of All Your Fault season 2 happening are low. This is because it was designed to be a limited series that tells its full story over the course of eight episodes and after numerous twists and turns.
Snook and Fanning are part of a cast that also includes Jake Lacy, Jay Ellis, Abby Elliot, Michael Peña, Thomas Cocquerel, Daniel Monks, and Sophia Lillis. Lacy plays Marissa’s husband, Peter, while Peña plays Detective Alcaras, who investigates Milo’s disappearance. While investigating the case, Alacaras is also raising a non-verbal son with developmental disabilities and trying to get him the best education possible.
While the Peacock original series seems to have ended, its stars have several high-profile projects already lined up. Fanning is starring and producing The Nightingale alongside her sister, Elle Fanning. It is a feature film adaptation of Kristin Hannah’s 2015 historical fiction novel of the same name, and is slated to release in theaters on February 12, 2027.
Peña will be in the action film Subversion, which also stars Chris Hemsworth, Lily James, and Simone Kessell. Elliot, who plays Peter’s sister in All Her Fault, is expected to reprise her role as Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto in The Bear season 5. Jeremy Allen White shared that the new season will begin filming around January and it was announced at CCXP that the episodes will be released in 2026.
