The Young and the Restless fans think that the storyline of Nate, Victoria, and Audra is heading toward a love triangle trope. For those unfamiliar, Nate and Audra were in a relationship, which ended due to the latter’s deal with Victor. Her betrayal and lies to Nate led to their breakup, but she remained determined to win him back. However, Nate’s growing interest in Victoria is bothering her, and it could potentially lead to viewers witnessing an interesting romantic conflict.
Is a love triangle between Nate, Victoria, and Audra coming to The Young and the Restless?
Y&R’s ongoing storyline does hint that viewers might get to witness the love-triangle trope between Nate, Audra, and Victoria.
In December 2’s episode, Audra becomes extremely uncomfortable and bothered when she saw Nate having a good time with Victoria at Crimson Lights. She had a good relationship with Nate earlier, but her one deal with Victor cost her that. Now, she can only blame herself for severing her ties with Nate and feels kind of helpless in the situation. Despite Nate’s growing interest in Victoria, she remains determined to repair the damage in their bond.
After their quality time, Victoria leaves Crimson Lights to visit Victor. Once she’s gone, Audra approaches Nate, hoping to make things right between them. She knows he rejected her before when she spoke her heart out, but she still tries to convince him to give their bond another chance.
Audra seems visibly jealous seeing Nate and Victoria together. She asks if he has moved on with Victoria, but Nate responds that his relationship with Victoria is none of her business. The wounds from Audra’s lies about the deal are still fresh, and he clearly doesn’t trust her anymore.
This is not the first time the writers have put Audra in such an awkward situation. A few months ago, she bumped into Victoria and Nate in a park, interrupting their conversation by asking about Noah’s car crash. The duo was visibly unhappy about her presence. However, Audra running into Nate and his new love interest, Victoria, from time to time could be the makers’ way of signaling that the story might be heading toward an interesting romantic conflict.
