What is shown in the Fallout Season 2 trailer?

Fallout Season 2 will follow the unlikely partnership between Lucy and the Ghoul as they travel through the wasteland in hopes of reaching New Vegas. Lucy is looking for her father, Hank, who betrayed her at the end of the first season.

The Ghoul asks Lucy, “What exactly is it you plan on doing once we find your daddy?” Lucy says, “Gonna bring him to justice. So that people know that how they conduct themselves matters. And they don’t give up hope.”

Meanwhile, the Ghoul is searching for his family, who might have survived the Great War. The Ghoul’s family is the “one reason” why he’s stayed alive for all these years.

Fallout stars Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean, Walton Goggins as the Ghoul/Cooper Howard, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Kyle MacLachlan as Hank MacLean, Moisés Arias as Norm MacLean, and Frances Turner as Barb Howard.

Produced by Kilter Films, Fallout is based on the video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, creators, and showrunners. Additional executive producers include Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Athena Wickham, Todd Howard, James Altman, and Margot Lulick.

Released in April 2024, Fallout Season 1 garnered positive reviews and received three Emmy Award nominations, including one for Outstanding Drama Series.

The first of eight episodes in Fallout Season 2 will premiere on December 17, 2025. Episodes will release weekly on Prime Video until the season finale on February 4, 2026.
