Pokemon Legends: Z-A – Where To Find Slowbro & Evolve It Into Slowking

The classic Pokémon Slowpoke returns to Pokémon Legends: Z-A, as well as Slowbro and Slowking. While not much has changed when it comes to the use of the King’s Rock, you will need to track one down in Lumiose City this time around.

The good news is, Slowpoke isn’t a unique or even rare Pokémon. They’re plentifully available after you’ve made some progress through the game’s main campaign.

Where To Find Slowpoke In Pokémon Legends: Z-A

It’s An Easy Early Game Pokémon to Catch

If you’re looking for Slowpoke, you won’t have any problems catching them throughout Wild Zones 10 and 11. Just head there at night, and you’ll find a ton of them to capture.

With that step finished, you’ll need to secure a King’s Rock so that it can evolve.

Where To Find A King’s Rock For Slowpoke

One Option Is A Simple Side Mission

The simplest way to get a King’s Rock is through Side Mission 084: Strike First to Make ’em Flinch, located south of Quasartico Inc, which is in the northwest portion of Lumiose City, in the Magenta Sector.

All you need to do is speak to the NPC Flynn, then speak to them again to trigger a battle. They have the following Pokémon:

  • Sharpedo – Level 52
  • Arbok – Level 52
  • Gyrados – Level 53

Because their team is so water-oriented, you can use electric and grass-type moves. After winning the battle, you’ll earn the King’s Rock.

You Can Buy A King’s Rock At Racine Construction

After finishing the game, Racine Construction also opens two vendors who can provide held items, including evolutionary items. Buy a King’s Rock for $4,980.

How To Evolve Slowpoke Into Slowking

Give Your Slowpoke The King’s Rock

Since this is a held item evolutionary track, Slowpoke will need to hold the King’s Rock, and be traded to another player. The trade code for Slowpoke is 0139-0139. After you receive a Slowbro with the King’s Rock, it’ll evolve into Slowking.

When you’re trading with strangers over Pokémon Legends: Z-A, make sure you inspect the Pokémon to ensure that it has the held item.
