The trailer for Crime 101 offers a glimpse at the star-studded heist movie. The upcoming Crime 101, which was directed and co-written by Bart Layton (American Animals), is set to debut in theaters on February 13, 2026. The movie is based on the Don Winslow novella of the same name and stars Chris Hemsworth as a seasoned thief.
Hemsworth, who is perhaps best known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is joined by multiple MCU alumni in Crime 101, including Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk) and Barry Keoghan (Eternals‘ Druig). The cast also includes Halle Berry, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tate Donovan, and Nick Nolte.
Amazon MGM Studios has now unveiled the first official trailer for Crime 101. The trailer, which has previously been screened in certain movie theaters before debuting online, kicks off with Chris Hemsworth’s character meeting Halle Berry’s character, who is a disillusioned insurance broker whose desperate situation causes them to team up.
As Hemsworth commits a series of increasingly high-stakes heists up and down the 101 freeway in Los Angeles, Mark Ruffalo’s character, a detective, is hot on his tail.
However, the trailer teases a number of major twists and turns, as implied by one of the final moments, which sees Hemsworth behind the wheel of a car the detective is taking, not knowing he is mere feet from his quarry. Watch the full trailer below:
