Battlefield 6 – Best Weapons And Attachments For Each Class

One of the best aspects of Battlefield 6is easily the wide variety of weapons available in the game, offering plenty of potential for tailoring its gunplay to your personal preferences. While almost every weapon in Battlefield 6 is viable with the right loadout, some still shine above the rest for general use.

To get even more out of your Battlefield 6 weapon potential, you’ll also want to be sure to pair the right weapon with the right class. Although the new open-weapon design means just about any class can use whatever weapon they want, each has a passive class buff that heavily benefits from favoring one weapon category over the others.

Best Weapons & Loadouts For The Assault Class

With the Assault class offering faster draw times with Assault Rifles and being able to fire sooner when exiting a sprint, they make the perfect companion for your primary engagement tool in Battlefield 6.

While it can be tricky to pick out an Assault Rifle that fits your specific playstyle, the KORD 6P67 is an excellent option to strive towards, offering a combination of fast damage output and longer range accuracy that the more aggressive M4S often lack.

Given that the Assault Class can also pick a secondary weapon to increase your combat versatility, a Shotgun is a fantastic choice to pair with your standard rifle. Even if the shotguns unlocked later on in Battlefield 6 can be tempting with their drastically increased rate of fire, the default M87A1 is hard to beat with its ammo capacity and damage output.

Best Weapons & Loadouts For The Engineer Class

Battlefield 6 KORT UMG-50 weapon preset screen

The main problem when it comes to choosing an SMG to pair with the Engineer’s powerful training paths is simply how good the weapon type is overall, even beating out many of Battlefield 6‘s Assault Rifles. While these weapons excel in just about any class, the Engineer’s increased hip-fire accuracy makes them even more effective at close range.

If you’re looking for a more classic SMG experience with all the survivability and hip-fire potential for extended or surprise engagements, the UMKG-40 is one of your best options to strive towards.

While the UMG-40 doesn’t shine as much as the other weapons for close-range combat, with the PS5A3 coming in a close second, its sheer versatility at both close quarters and medium-range accuracy makes it hard to compete with in most scenarios.

If you’re looking for even more one-on-one dueling potential over survivability, the absurdly high damage output of the SCW-10 is hard to compete with, being able to kill enemies incredibly fast at the cost of lowered ammo capacity.

Best Weapons & Loadouts For The Support Class

Battlefield 6 L110 weapon preset screen

Given that the Support Class in Battlefield 6 offers faster aim-down sights speed and no sprint penalty when carrying a massive LMG, it’s easily your best choice for which weapon type to choose.

Thankfully, one of the best LMGs in Battlefield 6 is unlocked right off the bat, with the L110 being a dominating force for medium to longer range engagements. While its mobility can cause it to struggle with more aggressive playstyles, its large ammo count and deadly accuracy make it a powerful threat in combat with these attachments:

While you can swap out the Classic Grip Pod and HeavyExtended Barrel for more aggressive mobility options like a Stubby and Light Barrel, I find this weapon excels at utilizing the mounting function on surfaces, allowing you to take out hordes of approaching enemies with incredibly low recoil.

If you’re looking for an even more aggressive medic playstyle, the RPKM unlocked at level 30 is another excellent choice for an incredibly powerful LMG thanks to its better mobility and higher damage per shot, which can be made even deadlier with the right investments.

Best Weapons & Loadouts For The Recon Class

Battlefield 6 M2010 ESR weapon preset screen

While there’s nothing exactly stopping you from using a sniper rifle in the other three outside the Recon, the following buffs provided by this class make it by far the best option by a landslide. Thankfully, there won’t be any unlock requirements to worry about, as the starting M2010 ESR sniper rifle is the best option for most engagements.

The Recon class offers reduced weapon sway, quicker chambering, better breath control for steadier aiming, and the ability to mark opponents while aiming at them for long enough with a scope.

While the viability of a sniper rifle like the M2010 ESR often depends on which Battlefield 6’s map rotation you’re currently playing, the right build can help it shine on just about any game mode. If you have the Phantom Edition, you’ll already have access to an excellent weapon package for the M2010 ESR, but these attachments will do the job even better:

With the Range Finder equipped, simply holding the fire rate input while aiming will instantly set the appropriate drop range, allowing you to hit shots without accounting for distance. If you don’t plan on sniping at more extreme ranges, however, you can remove the Range Finder and swap out both the Angled Grip and Brake for a Bipod and Suppressor, allowing you to become even harder to detect.

If you’re on a map without as many sniping positions or simply want to get closer to the action while still taking advantage of the Recon’s powerful gadgets, the DMR is your best choice. Thankfully, it’s even easier to pick out a DMR, with the SVK-8.6 being by far the best in class for its sheer damage output, especially while using the following attachments:

Even though the SVDM is a more versatile weapon for surviving various encounters from all ranges, it’s hard to beat being able to kill an enemy in only two shots from the body or one to the head, offered by the SVK-8.6.

While choosing a weapon in Battlefield 6 ultimately comes down to personal preference and playstyle, any of these options is a great starting place if you just want to focus on leveling up fast or completing challenges, especially if you invest in getting the proper attachments to make them shine.
