Chris Pratt’s first Terminal List spin-off is now streaming on Prime Video, and although only a few episodes of the show are out, it has already suffered an unfortunate streaming setback. Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights) headlines The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which tells the story of how Ben Edwards’ discharge landed him a job at the CIA. While it previously occupied the #1 spot, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf has since slipped to #2 thanks to the release of the latest episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty, the teen drama starring Lola Tung.
Chris Pratt can also be seen reprising his role as James Reece in The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, but he’s decidedly taken a back seat this time around to Kitsch’s Ben Edwards. This certainly works out in favor of the story, too — while fans would have liked to see more Chris Pratt, giving Kitsch the chance to step into the spotlight will only help the franchise soar to new heights. In addition to Kitsch and Pratt, Luke Hemsworth (Land of Bad) and Tom Hopper (Game of Thrones) can also be seen in The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is based on the series of novels by Jack Carr, who is also heavily involved with bringing both shows to life on the small screen. David DiGilio serves as the primary outside writer and creator for both The Terminal Listand Dark Wolf. The Kitsch-led spin-off is currently outpacing the original series on Rotten Tomatoes after earning a 73% score from critics. The first season of The Terminal List earned a disastrous 40% from critics, but it was beloved by fans, who rated it 94% on the audience-driven Popcornmeter.
What Do We Know About ‘The Terminal List’ Season 2?
Chris Pratt has been hard at work all year filming the second season of The Terminal List, but it remains unclear when the show will return to Prime Video. Carr confirmed to Collider while promoting Dark Wolf that Season 2 was in the middle of filming and things were going well, which left fans optimistic that it could return before the end of next year. He also mentioned that he believes The Terminal List Season 2 will be one of the biggest shows Amazon has ever done — an impressive feat considering the streamer is also behind Citadel and Rings of Power.
