10 X-Men With the Most Rizz, Ranked. #1 Will Shock You

Every X-Men fan knows that romance is a huge part of the franchise, with Marvel’s Mutants constantly dating and dumping each other. That makes it particularly difficult to choose which of the franchise’s army of mutants has the most rizz.

In this list, we’re looking for the mutants with the most romantic charisma, as opposed to those who are simply attractive or can use their powers to enrapture others.

10

Angel, aka Archangel, aka Warren Worthington III

Love Interests Include: Psylocke, Dazzler, Scarlet Witch

x-men’s angel and x-23

While his non-offensive powers generally see him labeled the least impressive of the founding X-Men, Warren Worthington III is still a charismatic, crime-fighting billionaire with a long history of saving the world. Add in an inner darkness that he fights to channel into heroism (ultimately given physical form in the monstrous Archangel) and it’s not hard to see where Angel’s rizz comes from.

9

Nightcrawler, aka Kurt Wagner

Love Interests Include: Silver Sable, Rachel Summers, Gloriana

Nightcrawler has often been treated like a monster because of his demonic appearance, but not everyone agrees. The teleporting hero is one of Marvel’s steamiest crime-fighters, always finding time for romance no matter what threat is targeting the X-Men.

Kurt grew up watching Errol Flynn movies and styled himself as a swashbuckling adventurer. His most iconic romances include a love triangle with Captain Britain and Meggan in the pages of Excalibur and an on/off connection with lifelong friend Amanda Sefton. He and Storm have a highly flirtatious friendship that neither has acted on… yet.

8

Wolverine, aka Logan, aka James Howlett

Love Interests Include: Viper, Domino, Storm

Wolverine and Storm share a kiss

While most adaptations focus on Wolverine’s forbidden love for Jean Grey, the hero has been around for over 100 years and they’ve been filled with romance. Storm is arguably Wolverine’s true love on the X-Men, with the two engaging in an off/on tryst over the years, reconnecting whenever circumstances allow.

Logan has also gotten together with more than his fair share of villains, with romantic connections to Mystique, Lady Deathstrike, Viper, Seraph, Tyger Tiger and the Pink Lady. He’s also had plenty civilian romance, with many ending in unspeakable tragedy, often thanks to his nemesis Sabretooth.

Despite being a gruff hero who – according to countless comic references – smells the worst of any Marvel hero outside Deadpool, Logan is an honorable, unfailingly brave man who spends his time fighting for civil rights and mentoring disadvantaged youngsters, explaining why so many heroes, villains and civilians appreciate his rizz.

7

Cyclops, aka Scott Summers

Love Interests Include: Jean Grey, Psylocke, Emma Frost

It’s hard to call Cyclops ‘charming’, but he is the definition of the ‘strong, silent type.’ The de facto leader of mutantkind, Cyclops has dedicated his life to the mutant cause, giving everything to keep other mutants safe and free to live their lives. While he’s not known for his flirting game, Cyclops’ rizz is so strong that multiple teammates have tried to seduce him away from his one true love, Jean Grey.

6

Sunspot, aka Roberto Da Costa

Love Interests Include: Magma, Deathbird, Boom-Boom

A sophisticated, charming billionaire, Sunspot has so much rizz that he even managed to persuade Deathbird – the lethal empress of the Shi’ar Empire – to give him a shot as her official consort. Sunspot has dated teammates Magma, Jubilee and Magik in various media, but his true love is his best friend Cannonball, aka Sam Guthrie.

5

Betsy Braddock, aka Captain Britain, aka Psylocke

Love Interests Include: Rachel Summers, Fantomex, Archangel

A badass telekinetic warrior, Betsy is a lethal ninja who can drink even Wolverine under the table. Psylocke has had some of X-Men‘s steamiest romances, including simultaneously dating multiple versions of the antihero Fantomex after his multiple brains were separated into different bodies. Most recently, she finally got together with Rachel Summers, consummating decades of fans shipping the two heroes.

4

Gambit, aka Remy LeBeau

Love Interests Include: Rogue, Frenzy, Cecilia Reyes

X-Men’s bad boy is a professional thief with a villainous past and a Creole accent. Remy has spent most of his life on the wrong side of the tracks, finally embracing heroism because of his love for Rogue – essentially a ‘bodice ripper’ love interest come to life.

Thanks to his dark past, Gambit has plenty of love interests who were fellow thieves or assassins – including Candra, Joelle and Bella Donna Boudreaux – but even Marvel knows there’s only one woman he belongs with, leading the publisher to give them their own book under the title Mr. and Mrs. X.

3

Emma Frost, aka the White Queen

Love Interests Include: Cyclops, Namor, Iron Man

Originally a villain, Emma Frost is a devious, calculating seductress who uses her sex appeal and S&M wardrobe to make her way in the world. However, when Emma loves sincerely, she loves deep, embarking on passionate relationships with Cyclops and Iron Man. In fact, she even married Tony Stark, with the two seemingly falling in love during a relationship which was always meant to be purely tactical.

Emma’s telepathic powers blur the line between thinking about her and being with her, leading Cyclops to (arguably) betray Jean Grey with Emma, and Emma to later betray Scott with Namor when her powers were super-charged by the Phoenix Force.

2

Mystique, aka Raven Darkholme

Love Interests Include: Destiny, Forge, Iceman

Marvel’s ultimate femme fatale, Mystique only has eyes for her wife Destiny. However, she still utilizes seduction as a weapon in her arsenal, and has used her wiles to get the best of a long list of opponents, including Professor X, Wolverine, Sabretooth, Azazel, Fantomex and Deadpool, who she even married in order to get access to a military installation.

Mystique is an amoral operator who is sometimes pursuing her own ends, and sometimes preventing terrible disasters foreseen by her precognitive spouse. It’s hard to ever truly know what Mystique’s true goals are, but thanks to her shapeshifting powers, she can become anyone’s dream, and often uses that fact to her advantage.

1

Doop

Love Interests Include: Warbird, Various Members of the Westchester County School Board, Madonna (Yes, That One)

x-men’s doop and kitty pryde kiss

While no X-Men fans are likely to consider Doop a sex symbol, the numbers don’t lie. A less mainstream version of Deadpool, Doop is a mysterious being seemingly created by the US military as a superweapon. Doop can manipulate spatial reality, storing seemingly endless objects within his body and able to step outside time into a liminal space called the Marginalia. He also has enhanced strength and energy blasts so powerful, he’s faced Thor one-on-one in the past.

Doop speaks a unique language which those around him quickly pick up on, and which readers have found ways to partially decipher. Whatever he’s saying, it apparently makes him a major heartthrob to everyone and everything he meets. Doop is rumored to have dated numerous X-Men and pop star Madonna, and even taught ‘Advanced Mutant Sexuality’ at Xavier’s school. When Wolverine tasked Doop with protecting the newly founded Jean Grey school, he did so in a variety of ways, including seducing local officials.

Doop’s rizz is so strong that when a private detective was hired to uncover his affair with a married woman, he promptly seduced the investigator and the two ran off together (as seen in I Heart Marvel: My Mutant Heart #1.) When Wolverine and Doop teamed up to hunt down the hypnotic artifact known as the Pink Mink, Doop not only seduced the sentient scarf, but caused it to asexually reproduce.

Apparently witty, a skilled musician and a committed filmmaker, Doop does have a lot of desirable aspects, once you manage to look past the fact that he’s a floating green blob – something which every Marvel character apart from Kitty Pryde (who turned down his proposal of marriage) seems inexplicably able to do.

Those are our picks for the 10 X-Mencharacters with the most rizz – let us know below which other mutants have unbelievable romantic charisma, and whether you agree with our bizarre #1 pick.
