At San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Marvel Comics just dropped the major news about the latest Marvel Rivalstie-in comic, King in Black, which continues a storyline fans will recognize from the game. Appearing online as part of the Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic series, the arc will then be collected this fall in a single print edition.
As announced by Marvel, Marvel Rivals: King in Black #1, written by Paul Allor, with art by Nico Leon, will feature a ragtag squad of fan-favorite characters inadvertently winding up on the symbiote homeworld.
Their arrival kicks off a cosmic epic, which will pit corrupted good guys and bad guys alike against an alliance of unlikely heroes.
