Helldivers 2 Players Can Cast Their Votes To Rename A City But The Dumbest Name Is Probably Going To Win

Helldivers 2 players are exercising their right to vote, but the results are predictably dumb so far. The Super Earth megacity of Remembrance has been rebuilt following its destruction during the Illuminate invasion, which has also resulted in a wacky Warbond on the horizon. With a new dawn coming for the restored megacity, the Ministry of Truth has put its new name to a vote.

Ever diligent in their roleplaying as the Ministry of Truth, the developers at Arrowhead Game Studios have opened a new channel on the official Helldivers Discord server with the express purpose of voting on a new name for Remembrance now that it “will be reborn.” Players have five options when voting for a new megacity name: New Remembrance, Everlasting Memory, Peacebeacon’s Bloodlight, Winds of Change of Tides of War, and Gun. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Gun has taken an enormous lead, racking up nearly four times as many votes as any other option at the time of writing.
