ABC has posted the top two highest-rated shows for the 2024-25 TV season, including one that the network almost canceled.
Per TV Insider, the network’s shows High Potential and Shifting Gears posted the highest ratings for new dramas and comedies, despite the latter being almost canceled. High Potential was #1 for new dramas among adults 18-49, with a 3.85 rating, while Shifting Gears did the same for comedies, outperforming the competition to post a 2.39 rating.
