The hits keep coming for the Plath family of Welcome To Plathville fame, as a star of the show has come forward with damning audio of another cast member allegedly spewing hateful comments. Welcome To Plathville first aired on TLC in 2019, and it began as a sweet look at a wholesome Southern family who grew up away from the influences of the outside world.
As the seasons progressed, however, the family dynamics changed and, today, they are a shell of who they were during Welcome to Plathville season 1.
Parade reported that Olivia Plath, the ex-wife of Ethan Plath (the eldest son in the Plath family), recently shared an audio clip on her TikTok account that allegedly showed Ethan having an angry confrontation with her. In the clips, Ethan allegedly blamed Olivia for the end of their marriage, saying she’d become “so radical” since they got married that he didn’t want to have kids with her.
“If I had a kid with you, you would think that it could become male, if it was a girl….I’d rather never have kids than having a kid that ended up being indoctrinated so they could be some blue, fluffy hair-colored piece of rat s***.”

Olivia was constantly criticizedby the family for not falling in line and for being the cause of the estrangement between Ethan and his family. Olivia didn’t deserve any type of abuse, including the alleged verbal abuse she endured from Ethan.
She has a platform of fans who grew to know her during her time on Welcome to Plathville, and she’s made it her mission to speak up for those who cannot, and to expose abusers, even if she used to be related to them.
