Rami Malek, known for his Oscar-winning performance as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, also stars in the crime thriller Mr. Robot, which is rapidly climbing the streaming charts after arriving on Netflix. Malek portrays Elliot in Mr. Robot, a computer programmer with an array of mental health conditions who the enigmatic titular character recruits to join a group called “fsociety.”
Mr. Robot landed on Netflix yesterday (July 3) and is already doing numbers. According to FlixPatrol,Mr. Robot is already number 7 on Netflix US’ Top 10 shows. It’s an impressive feat, although not a surprising one, considering this is the first time all four seasons of Mr. Robot are streaming on Netflix in the US.
